SLIEVE DONARD HOTEL NEWCASTLE
This beautiful location is right on my doorstep and has some of the most amazing views in the town. I never tire of photographing at the Slieve Donard Hotel, with the amazing views of the Mourne mountains from every angle of the hotel, to the beautiful sandy beach which has direct access to the Hotel. Inside the Slieve Donard certainly doesn’t disappoint either, the hotel’s open fires, stunning Victorian architecture, elegant bedrooms and exquisite Spa add to the romance and combine to make this an idyllic venue for fairy tale weddings. The magnificent gardens also provide a spectacular background for alfresco celebrations, drinks receptions and unique photography.

Well apart from the fact that it is barely a mile from my studio, it has the most amazing locations to photograph, even when it rains!! The whole atmosphere in the Slieve is magical, the service given by all staff members is second to none and the spacious interior means it never disappoints.

In my opinion as a photographer, the Slieve Donard has so many advantages. First has got to be the views, your photos are guaranteed to be spectacular with the external and internal views the Slieve has to offer. Winter weddings are also so special at the Slieve too. Even I get the feeling Im on my holidays and I only live a stones throw away. In fact I spoil myself every year in December by dining at the Slieve’s Christmas buffet (so divine).
